COMMON SENSE -
NOT NONSENSE.

COMMON SENSE - NOT NONSENSE.

HELP JOE BRING COMMON SENSE BACK!

A BATTLE BORN VOICE FOR COMMON SENSE

Joe Locatelli is a lifelong Nevadan, proud father, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and educator with deep roots in both service and conservative leadership.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Joe graduated from Bonanza High School before enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served four years on active duty and thereafter received an honorable discharge. After his military service—and a memorable stint as a beach lifeguard in Hawaii—Joe went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in political science from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, followed by a master’s degree in government from Harvard University.

Joe’s political and policy experience spans state legislatures and Capitol Hill. He’s worked for the minority whip in the Hawaii Legislature, served under Nevada’s Lieutenant Governor, and staffed a congressional office in Nevada’s 2nd District. He was the Republican nominee for State Senate in 2008, a Hawaii GOP delegate to the 2012 Republican National Convention, and a Clark County and Nevada GOP delegate in 2024. He’s also fought for property rights as a contract lobbyist and served on the board of the Hawaii Catholic Conference. Most recently, he supervised Southern Nevada efforts for Catholic Vote during the 2024 presidential election.

Recently, Joe has taught high school government and history at Bishop Gorman High School. He currently teaches political science at the College of Southern Nevada, mentoring the next generation in civic responsibility and constitutional principles. Joe is also a small business owner, offering customers his knowledge and skill in navigating local government.

Above all, Joe is a father of three and a believer in the power of service, truth, and common sense. He’s not running for headlines—he’s running to restore integrity, accountability, and leadership that puts common sense first while striving to improve the lives of his fellow Nevadans.
